The Bridgehampton Historical Society is pleased to announce the winners of the Vintage Sports Car Road Rally held on September 30th, and the Car Show held on October 1st. The rally had a very competitive field of cars ranging in age from 1915 to 1963. The Road Rally is a precision time and distance event, pitting drivers against the map, traffic, and their stopwatches. After the field completed the 130-mile course, the results were tabulated and announced at the awards ceremony.

First Place Winners with 240 points: Richard Weintraub and Gerard Jeffrey in a 1955 MG TF

Second Place Winners with 175 points: Alain Baume and Jack Libaire in a 1955 Mercedes 190SL

Third Place Winners with 105 points: James Thorpe and Steven Jury in a 1962 Porsche 356

Fourth Place winners with 100 points: Richard Lisman and Clive Doyle in a 1936 Lagonda Rapide

Fifth Place winners with 95 points: John Hertog and John Doyle in a 1931 Model A Ford
